[Review] 3 Concept Eyes (3CE) - Creamy Lip Color (#15 Beloved)

I've been loving Stylenanda for like... forever!

Too bad I never learn how to spend money wisely when I travel, so it turns out I didn't get anything from Stylenanda during my summer trip to Seoul!

However, I did buy some products from 3CE, which is still nice :')

Orange lipstick has become a trend these days, so I wonder if I can pull this off lol...

Color: 4/5

I didn't do any "research" before buying this lipstick, so I decided to check what the real color is on Stylenanda's website. "Lively salmon color mixed in with vibrant red" is what I found. Hmm... I'd say it's "super vibrant salmon color mixed with red" instead :P I really saw no red when I applied on my lips, but after trying it on paper, it did contain some red and bright pink. This color is the brightest I've ever owned even I've bought red lipsticks before. Oh well, Stylenanda is known for producing bright colored lip products.

Well, there's no surprise, but the package is chic and simple just like all other 3CE products, and I just love it :)

Long-lastingness: 3.5/5

I wasn't expecting long-lastingness when I bought this lipstick because if I really want a long-wearing effect, I'd go for lip tint or lipstick that looks dryer and harder (don't know if it makes sense haha), because this lipstick is pretty soft and I feel like it will melt easier. The color will still be here if you don't eat or touch your lips often.

It certainly felt smooth and soft when I applied on my lips. However, there are some weird residue on my lips. It almost looks like my lips were not hydrated enough and I have flaky lips?! I actually have lips in good condition most of the time and I did applied vaseline before applying this lipstick. I also have to be careful when I apply such a bright and solid color, but you certainly can draw a lip line before :)

If you love bright colors, you'll love this lipstick. For me, it's not very practical because I don't always go out at night and it would definitely look weird if I wear it to school lol. Other than that, the color and the design are great.

How I use it:

It might not look super bright in the photo, but it's super bright, vibrant, and somewhat glossy in real life. This look is actually inspired by Park So Ra. You'll know her name if you are a fan of Stylenanda or 3CE :) Her makeup is more like a day makeup, but I found this lipstick being too bright for daytime, so I think it is better to wear it at night. What I did was drawing a thicker eyeliner and a darker colored eyebrow. I also think it's better to apply a top coat after applying the lipstick in order to cover/reduce the weird residue I was talking about under the application section. The top coat I used was Lipnicure top coat by Clio. Another way to wear this lipstick is to wear it in the middle of your lips to create an ombré effect after applying a lighter color (e.g. peach) on the entire lips.
